Long Weekend Chanting Retreat

This is a retreat for people who want to experience and learn chanting.

Chanting helps us connect on a deeper level and is a fantastic tool, or medicine to relax the nervous system for ourselves and others. This course would be suitable for musicians, singers, yoga and meditation teachers, therapists or anyone fascinated by voice and sound healing.

Participants arrive Thursday evening for dinner at 18.00. The course ends after lunch Sunday. You will sleep in comfortable accommodation on the spacious horsefarm, in rooms on the farm next door and in three glamping tents.

Your day will start friday with a meditation at 7am, or the toning & chanting session at 7.30 am.

A buffet breakfast will give you energy and set you up for a silent walk along leylines, and past historical monuments and viking graves on the lush Kullaberg peninsula. A vegetarian warm lunch is served in the country lodge farm kitchen before the second part of the chanting course continues.

Dinner is eaten in silence, with mindful attention to our senses. If weather permits, we end the day with sharing experiences by the fire.

Ulrica Liavor, founder of Holi Yoga and Holi Academy, is a musician, a yoga instructor and teacher at the University College of Music Education in Stockholm. Ulrica has combined several voice, sound and vibration traditions with her own knowledge and experience of yoga, voice, music, form and sound.

This retreat is open to all participants. No experience required. If suffering from illness or injury, or if you have recently had surgery, please let us know beforehand. 

The retreat starts thursday evening with dinner and ends after lunch and walk by the sea on sunday.
